The events with which we are involved over the next several weeks are listed here. The list is regularly updated, so please bookmark this page and refer to it frequently. To avoid missing any of the action, we advise you to do this at least once a week!
Throughout the summer - Bookstall at Teddington Lock - Weather permitting, our doughty secretary and her helpers will be at their regular weekend stall at Teddington Lock, to the benefit of passing boatowners, passengers, walkers and cyclists. A great opportunity to browse and buy good-quality secondhand books in idyllic surroundings!
In addition, we will be at the following events:
July 31 - White Swan Raft Race - Twickenham Riverside - souvenir stall, collectors and raffle
August 14 - Sunbury Regatta
August 30 - Twickenham Gardening Association Show
September 18/19 - Thames Rally - Queen's Promenade, Surbiton
October 6 - Bridge Drive - Thames Motor Yacht Club, Hampton Court. Tickets from 020 8892 3272.
October 30 - Salvation Army concert for the RNLI: "Best of British Brass" - at the Staines Citadel, Woodthorpe Road, Staines, TW15 3JY. Doors open at 6:45, concert starts at 7:30. Tickets £7 in advance or £8 at the door! For tickets please contact 01784 211977 or 020 8977 8885 or the Salvation Army Citadel.
