The Twickenham Branch of the RNLI

The Royal National Lifeboat Institution is a registered charity, whose function is to save lives at sea, on coasts and on certain inland waterways. This is a vital service, operating on a 24/7 basis, in all weather conditions. It is necessarily a massive, complex and expensive operation, and one way in which the cost is met is through the tireless activities of local fundraising branches like ours.

HELP WANTED!

Of course, we are very grateful when people put money in our collecting boxes, or buy raffle tickets or souvenirs ... but one of the most useful ways of helping the RNLI is to give us some of that very special thing - your time!

The Twickenham Branch always welcomes volunteer helpers and prospective committee members. Put your spare time to good use, and have fun doing it!

We are a very friendly bunch of people and we know you would enjoy working with us!

Just click on "Contact Us" at the top of this page for the e-mail link to use.

Our branch operates through the districts of Twickenham, Teddington, Sunbury, the Hamptons and Ashford (Middlesex). It has been in existence since 1959, and over that time has collected the incredible amount of almost £750,000. This year, the branch has succeeded in raising over £40,000 - our best result ever. Every penny raised goes towards running the RNLI.

This site tells you a little about us!

We welcome all expressions of interest or help, and on these pages you will find ways of contacting us.
