In this, our 50th year of operation, we are contemplating reaching an amazing target for fundraising. We are tantalisingly close to having raised a million Pounds for the RNLI since the Branch was established in 1960. At our normal rate (still an impressive £36,000 a year), we would have hit that target in a year or two's time, but we saw this as a challenge!

We are appealing to everybody to help us achieve our goal. Already, the "Titanic" talk at the Thames Motot Yacht Club raised an astonishing £700+, our local lifeboat station is busy raising money, speakers have given the proceeds of their talks to us, and so on. The list is impressive.

But, even with the best will in the world, we have little chance of getting there on our own. Please help us by supporting our events and if you are so minded, please send donations to us.
