Lively

Involving

Successful

With a huge range of activities running throughout the year, we are a truly vibrant group who work together to support the RNLI  -  and have a bundle of fun doing it!

WE ARE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR PEOPLE TO HELP US - CONTACT US VIA THE LINK BELOW.

Organising our events keeps us involved with the local community. Also, since the establishment of Teddington Lifeboat Station - one of the four stations established on the Thames in 2002 - we have a particular bond with our local crew and their families and supporters.

The Royal National Lifeboat Institution is a registered charity, whose function is to save lives at sea, on coasts and on certain inland waterways. This is a vital service, operating on a 24/7 basis in all weather conditions. It is necessarily a massive, complex and expensive operation, and one way in which the cost is met is through the tireless activities of local fundraising branches like ours.

Our branch operates through the districts of Twickenham, Teddington, St Margarets, Whitton, Sunbury, the Hamptons and Ashford (Middlesex). It has been in existence since 1959, and over that time has collected over a Million Pounds for the RNLI!

(Oh, the little lady above? She’s Tess, our canine helper, who has become a familiar figure at our Teddington Lock stall each summer weekend!)

Diary of events Who we are and how to join us

Since the founding of the Branch, we have managed to raise the staggering sum of over ONE MILLION POUNDS for the Institution - half of that since the Millennium Year!

We are currently trying to find a successor for our Branch Secretary - click on the tab above for “Who we are and how you to join us”.
