Our small organising committee meets monthly to review recent work, get financial updates, plan our promotional activities and make plans for the coming weeks.

Month by month we try to run a varied and interesting programme. It may be a Coffee Morning or a Street Collection, or it may be a major concert, bridge drive or social event. But it's all valuable - and, most of all, its FUN! Here's how we work with the community:

Local boat clubs let us run stalls in their clubhouses

Shops, cafes and pubs take our well-known collecting boxes

Supermarkets let us set up collection points at their stores

Companies provide facilities such as our popular quizzes or hilarious Novelty Race Nights

We run boat trips on the Thames

It's hard work but we enjoy it - and the social aspects of our involvement too.
